Author: Taarhal
Vaerhal sat behind her large desk in her study, books and scrolls piled up around her, Taarhal and Tarnalia sat opposite.
Taarhal glanced between her sister and Tarnalia, noting both still had their armour on and weapons close at hand “Do you two both sleep in your armour?”
Vaerhal and Tarnalia replied almost together “we like to be prepared”
Taarhal smiled a little, thinking the two of them made a perfect paring, so devoted to duty and doing what needed to be done.
“Yes yes, being prepared is good……so what are we to do about what I have seen?” Taarhal fixed her eyes to that of her sister.
“It is indeed dark news Sister, We had thought we would have more time before facing such a threat again, and the Blue Order is not what it once was, many of our forces are scattered and more lost in the line of duty, we are not ready for this, we fear the outcome should your vision come to pass soon” Vaerhal`s eyes passed from her sister to Tarnalia`s
“Tarnalia…you are our hammer, you have fought with us against many threats and in many dark times, are you with us still should this darkness come…you are not bound to serve us, you have always done so by your own choice,”
Tarnalia shifted in her chair, her muscled arms flexing as she moved “Sisters, I am with you, my axe and sword are yours until my dying breath, I am pledged by honour and by all that is holy to serve the greater good and you share that goal , you can count on me at your side in the darkest of times”
Taarhal smiled at Tarnalia as she spoke “ And we pledge the same to you Tarnalia, we will fight together against anything the Legion can throw at us….and we will face the darkness as one…yes yes….we will.”
Vaerhal leaned back in her chair, causing the wood to creak alarmingly “So we are united, but must now decide on how to proceed, we know the darkness will come, we know the legion will arrive, but we don`t know when, it could be months or it could be years before the events you saw come to pass”
Taarhal nodded “Yes yes, there is no indication of time in what I saw, all I know is it will happen, yes yes and when it comes we must be ready to face it”
Vaerhal let out a long sigh as she peered out the window “Indeed, what of these Echo`s you have encountered, they sound capable allies yes?”
“Yes yes I believe so, they share our values, and our goals, they are without doubt a force for good, we can work with them yes yes we can”
“Then we will gather what resources we can muster from the Blue Order, we will also look at co-ordinating with our allies the Argent Crusade and you and Tarnalia should pledge your services to the Echo`s “
Taarhal stood “yes yes then it is decided , now Turtle must be hungry yes yes she must. I should feed her before she gets gassy”
Taarhal moved to the door and closed it behind her leaving the two armoured Draenei alone.
“Take good care of her for us Tarnalia, we would be lost without her”
“I will let no harm come to her while I draw breath Vaerhal, you have my oath”
Tarnalia stood holding out her muscled arm towards Vaerhal , who in turn stood and took the offered arm in a warriors grip.
“May the light watch over you Friend”
“And may the light keep you safe too Vaerhal Shas`tan”
